2. Information We Collect
Business Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, and billing information.
Contact Data: We store the phone numbers and additional details (name, service inquiry, notes) of your customers and leads that interact with your SMS automation.
Message Content: We store inbound and outbound SMS messages processed through our platform in order to power AI responses, display conversation history in your dashboard, and generate follow-ups.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, login timestamps, and dashboard activity.
Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs when you access our web dashboard.
Payment Information: Billing details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

4. SMS Messaging & A2P 10DLC
Our platform sends SMS messages on your behalf using registered Application-to-Person (A2P) 10DLC phone numbers. As part of carrier compliance:
- All campaigns are registered with The Campaign Registry (TCR)
- Messages are sent only to contacts who have provided prior express written consent to receive SMS communications
- Consent is collected via an explicit opt-in checkbox on our website contact form at the time of form submission, with a timestamp recorded
- The consent disclosure reads: “By submitting this form, I consent to receive SMS messages from NovaTech Alpha about my request and platform updates. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Msg & data rates may apply.”
- Every message includes opt-out instructions (“Reply STOP to unsubscribe”)
- Opt-out requests (STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END) are processed immediately and permanently suppress further messages to that number
- Message frequency varies based on account activity. You will receive no more messages than necessary to fulfill your service request.

You, as the business operator using our platform, are also responsible for obtaining proper prior express written consent from your own customers before using our platform to message them on your behalf.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data or your customers’ data. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- SMS Carriers & Aggregators: Message content and phone numbers are transmitted to carriers to deliver text messages.
- AI Service Providers: Message content may be processed by AI model providers to generate responses. These providers are contractually bound to data security standards.
- Payment Processors: Billing information is shared with our payment processor to handle transactions.
- Infrastructure Providers: We use cloud hosting and database providers who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of NovaTech Alpha, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information and message history for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal, audit, and business purposes. Conversation data is retained for a minimum of 90 days to support platform functionality. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Opt-out records (STOP requests) are retained indefinitely to ensure suppression compliance.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.
